Cross processing

Here is a photo i edited using the cross processing process (so basically individually changing the red, green and blue)

Here is the original

zoe before and then after, on this photo i used the heal brush tool, the heal brush tool uses a specific area you have chosen and amends any differences on a different area for example with the spot on her forehead, I chose a different area on her forehead without imperfects and then used the tool over the spot to amend it.

Composition photos

With these photos I wanted to attain various shots from long shots to up close with varying eye levels here are some of them

My front cover

Here is my magazine front cover using a medium close up I kept Aiden (the subject within the center of the page to attract attention) I then added various sell lines and then added a main sell line although in hindsight I probably should have changed the colour of the text too allow it to be seen more easily. As well as that I added a barcode.

As a first front cover attempt I believe it was alright however various things could have been adapted to make it better, for example the colour of the font for the 'how i survived the haters' should have probably been changed but due to the various colours of the background i could not find a more suitable colour.

Vampire Tutorial

Before

 After

First of all you need a photo of someone smiling showing their teeth, I had a previous picture taken which was suitable. To change the face colour I used the Sponge tool which allows you to change the colour of the skin to grey (the sponge has to be set to desaturate and the flow has to be changed to around 75%). then the sponge tool can be applied to the face, although to create the vampire look it would be best avoid the lips and the eyes.  to adjust the teeth of the model firstly the magnetic lasso tool has to be selected and then placed around one of the outside of the models teeth, then you have to right click and select layer via copy, then edit, transform and then warp has to be selected to enlarge and change the tooth to a point where it looks like what a vampires would and then you have your vampire.

In Design

Here is my double page spread which I added a photo, article and and title too. I put the article into 3 separate columns. When inserting the image a box has to be created to fit the image within the image size can then be roughly adjusted but if wanted to make larger it would have to be done within photoshop.

Shutter speed Photos and evaluation

Shutter speed is the setting on a camera which you change the actual closing speed of the shutter, This is important in photography as it allows a certain amount of light to hit the sensor so the faster the shutter speed (e.g. 1/50 of a second will let in less light then a shutter speed of 1 second or more). Because of this change in the amount of light allowed to hit the sensor patterns or images can be made using light with a longer shutter speed say ten seconds. this allows what is called light drawing to take place (as seen in the pictures below) depending on the shutter speed as well various photos can be taken for example with a lower shutter speed moving objects can appear more blurred whilst at a higher one speed can appear more sharp.

Here the shutter speed is set relatively high (probably around 1/250 of a second to acquire the smooth movement without it being blurred however the back ground is blurry but this is due to thew focus being on the car)

here the shutter speed has been set to around a 10 second of five second exposure allowing me to do what is called light drawing this worked effectively although my 'light writing could be better'
